Strawberry Açaí Bowls!

If you are looking for a sweet and nutrient-dense dessert, look no further! You have to try this strawberry açaí recipe!


Ingredients:

  • 2 small packets of pure unsweetened acai puree

  • 1 frozen banana

  • ½ cup of frozen strawberries

  • ¼-½ cup of plant-based milk by judged consistency

Toppings (optional):

  • ¼ cup of Gluten-Free/Vegan Granola

  • 2 Tablespoons of Almond Butter

  • 1 Teaspoon of Chia Seeds


Preparation Time:

This recipe will take approximately 10 minutes to prepare.


Servings and Calories:

This recipe prepares 2 servings of acai bowls—each bowl containing 213 calories excluding toppings. With toppings, each serving contains an estimated 394.5 calories.


Directions:

Step 1. In a blender or food processor, combine your two packets of an unsweetened base with your banana, frozen strawberries, and plant-based milk. Start with ¼ cup of plant-based milk before adding more if the mixture is too dry.



Step 2. Your mixture should be smooth and thick. If your mixture is too runny, cut back on the plant-based milk and add more fruits. You can add blueberries or fruit as you wish. If your mixture is too thick, add more plant-based milk as so necessary.



Step 3. Pour your acai base into a bowl of choice, decorate if you please, and enjoy!
