Miso Ramen with Tempeh!

If you are looking for a savory, less-sodium-rich alternative to traditional ramen, look no further!


Ingredients:

  • 1 dry ramen pack (just noodles)

  • ¼ cup of minced onion

  • 1 ⅓ cup of vegetable broth

  • ½ teaspoon of Smoked Paprika

  • 1 teaspoon of Garlic Powder

  • 5oz of tempeh

  • 2 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil



Preparation Time:

This recipe should take no more than 15 minutes to prepare and twenty minutes to cook.

Directions:

Step 1. Boil your plain-ramen block. Add salt or any additional seasonings.

Step 2. In a separate skillet on medium-high heat, add the vegetable broth and minced onion together—season with Smoked Paprika and Garlic Powder.

Step 3. Once the ramen has softened, lower the heat on both skillets and combine with the broth mixture (which at this time should be boiling).

Step 4. In the skillet used to prepare the ramen, drain the additional water and add your tablespoons of oil, raising it to medium heat with the tempeh.

Step 5. Once the tempeh is cooked to a light-dark brown color, plate your dish with the tempeh pieces on top. Cool and enjoy!
